Dayton Karaoke

 

• Paradise Key -  3243 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45414,  8:00-1:00 Review - Decent seating and decent parking. The sound system is ok but not the greatest. The staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. 

• Sparky's Lounge - 822 Watertower Ln, West Carrollton, Oh 10:00  Review: There is a lot of parking and pleanty of seating. This is one of the cleanest bars I have seen and the bartender was very friendly. I like that they do karaoke 7 nights a week, yes I said 7! The sound system was good but if you are looking for recognition for your singing you are out of luck. The patrons don't clap, which I find weird because all the other places I go people clap after every singer. It is like the polite karaoke rule, lol. The bartender said that is normal there, the no clapping thing. It personally makes me feel a bit weird but that could be just me. I clapped for everyone anyways even though my husband and I were the only ones clapping. NEW REVIEW The people who were there this last time actually clapped! We had a very enjoyable time and the sound system was amazing!

• Arches Lounge - 609 W Main st Lebanon, OH 9:00-?

• The Whiskey Barrel - Midway Plaza Shopping Center, 857 W Central Ave, Springboro, OH Weekly Contest, $100 to the best singer! 9:00 Review - Lots of parking and seating. The staff were friendly. The sound system was ok, the DJ is not my personal favorite so we did not stay very long. He tends to sing along with the patrons and I personally find that annoying.

• Sneaky D's -  Huber Heights - 8:00 - 1:30

• Evolution - 130 North Patterson Rd, Dayton,Ohio 45402 8:30-1:00 Review:  This bar is located down town and I was very suprised to find that the parking was good! If there is a Dragons game going on it might be harder to find parking but there was a game going on when we went and we found a spot no problem, so it might just depend on how busy the game is for that. Inside was really cool. They have an old diner feel, something I find fun. There was a lot of seating as they have bar seating, tables, and booths along the wall. They do serve food which is nice when you are drinking. The service was amazing! The bartender was fast and attentive and even the owner ws going around and cleaning tables. If there was an issue or they saw something that needed to be done, it was done right away. The song selectiona and sound were great too. The acoustics were great for singing.
