Paradise Key - 3243 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45414, 8:00-1:00 Review - Decent seating and decent parking. The sound system is ok but not the greatest. The staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome.

Sparky's Lounge - 822 Watertower Ln, West Carrollton, Oh 10:00 Review: There is a lot of parking and plenty of seating. This is one of the cleanest bars I have seen and the bartender was very friendly. I like that they do karaoke 7 nights a week, yes I said 7! The sound system was good but if you are looking for recognition for your singing you are out of luck. The patrons don't clap, which I find weird because all the other places I go people clap after every singer. It is like the polite karaoke rule, lol. The bartender said that is normal there, the no clapping thing. It personally makes me feel a bit weird but that could be just me. I clapped for everyone anyways even though my husband and I were the only ones clapping. NEW REVIEW The people who were there this last time actually clapped! We had a very enjoyable time and the sound system was amazing!

Patterson Pub - 970 Patterson rd Dayton - 10:00-2:00 Review - I am not impressed. First problem was that the DJ showed up at 10, that was when it should have started. When I went up to talk to him he was very rude to my friend and I. We all know there are some great singers at karaoke and some not so great singers. Well a girl got up and sang a song and I thought it was just fine. The DJ said, in the microphone, "Well that was a nice try I guess." I have never heard a DJ be so rude to the customers. At one point he played the radio version of the song my friend was trying to sing. When my friend said something the DJ got all irritated and said it was just background vocals. The sound was not very good either. I won't ever go back there to sing, not unless they get a new karaoke DJ.

Sports N Spirits Pub and Patio - 1725 Woodman Dr, Kettering, OH 45420 9:00 Review: Good sound, if you sit in the back it is a bit harder to hear the singers but it still sounds good. The song selection is good too. Parking is not bad. Seating is ok, but if you have a really large group it can be hard to sit together. Everyone in there is very friendly.
